PRIMARY PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Draft vacancy requests for personnel (RFP) forms for hiring supervisor approval.
  • Submit and track RFPs sent to the Personnel Assistant in the Human Resource Dept.
  • Supports the hiring process at the Lower Hudson Regional Center (LHRIC) by performing clerical tasks related to hiring.
  • Work with the Personnel Assistant in the Human Resource Dept. to monitor job postings, civil service list expiration dates, and Board deadlines.
  • Work with the Central Support Team to schedule and coordinate interviews.
  • Supports the hiring supervisors in preparing for the interview process by assembling applications for supervisor review, schedule interviews, and gather relevant paperwork.
  • Monitor evaluation and training deadlines.
  • Support time and activity tracking for staff.
  • Schedules and assists new hire orientation at the LHRIC.
  • Prepares routine letters, memoranda, forms, etc.
  • Uses computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, e-mail and database software in performing work assignments.
