Our Adult Literacy Program opens doors for those seeking to earn their high school equivalency diploma, improve their English language skills, or pass the U.S. Citizenship test.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Help adult learners strengthen their reading and writing skills through individual and group instruction.
• Develop and deliver lesson plans tailored to diverse needs, create instructional materials, and adapting teaching methods to support student progress.

Job Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience teaching adult population.
• New York State Certification in Adult Education, English Language Learning Instructor or be qualified to apply for certification.
• Must be available to teach in the evening.
• May include weekends.
